ASTM A928 Grade UNS S31803 duplex stainless steel pipe is a high-strength electric-fusion-welded (EFW) duplex stainless steel pipe designed for corrosive and offshore service environments. Commonly known as Duplex 2205, features a balanced ferritic-austenitic microstructure (approximately 40–50% ferrite / 50–60% austenite), delivering high strength and excellent resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking (SCC), pitting, and crevice corrosion.
